Voice Recognition

Post by Tam123 » Wed May 02, 2007 12:54 pm

Does anyone know if Rev Studio have the capabilities to do voice recognition?

If so, can anyone point me in the direction of some information on how to use it?

If not, does any other Rev products have this capability?

Thanks :)

Click on the development menu at the top of Revolution. Click on Revolution Online. Click on User Spaces. Click on Browse Categories. Click Programming. Click on Say and Listen in Rev using Applescript. It works for Apple Macintosh and not on Windows.

Just to check based on the code you directed me to, that in Rev you can specify that the computer listen for particular words that a person says aloud and to make responses only if the person says that word?

Is there no way to use it on Windows? As otherwise I will have to source a Mac...

Also is it only able to be used on a Mac as they have a microphone or mic software built in?

:?

Hy TAM123......

not so far i have already me too asked, if revolution does recognise the voice, and jaqliene
told me unfortunetly not......there's no instrunctions that recognise the speech......

but..... don't desperate.... you must find a plug-in to abilitate the recognition of the speech......

i'm sorry... but i don't know where is the software (plug-in)........find....find.....

Best regards.......

IBM licenses it's via voice speech recognition for developers. Not sure what it works with. but may be worth poking into.
