Can I move a thread from one board to another on this forum?
I realized today that at least one of my questions would be more suited for a different board on this forum (it would probably be more comfortable in the iOS Deployment portion of the forum) - I know it is important to keep a well structured and tidy forum, so is there a way for me to move the post manually, or could an admin possibly do it? The thread in question is discussing a malfunctioning database connection on iOS devices.

Hi,
If there is a compelling reason, a moderator like Klaus or Richard will likely do it as a matter of course. If it is just that you think a change is better suited, you can always repost in another category, or maybe a moderator will see this thread and do it as a favor.
But you cannot move it yourself.

Thanks for posting that, Justin. I appreciate your interest in keeping things tidy.
I can move a topic for you. Just post the URL here and I'll move it to the iOS section.

Thanks for the follow up!
I have been a part of many industry forums over the years (and owned / managed / moderated a few, as well) and I understand the importance of keeping things tidy - it is better for me, it is better for the thread and it is better for future users who might find themselves browsing these forums.
The thread in question is located here: http://forums.livecode.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=23422
In the future, I will place my threads in the proper subforums!
