Hello,
I know I used to know how to do this but I can't remember what the event is when a document made by a standalone is double clicked on the desktop. I think MacOS tests for an Apple Event but I've no clue concerning Windows.
I've had a good look in the dictionary, the online lessons and searched the forum. Please may I have some help?
Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve,
for Windows you have to mess with the REGISTRY!
Here some helpful hints: http://sonsothunder.com/devres/livecode ... ile004.htm

Hi Steve,
for Windows I can recommend "Inno Setup" -> https://jrsoftware.org/isinfo.php
A free Windows installer maker and if I remember correctly, I can also do some REGISTRY stuff.
Win users just EXSPECT a SETUP.EXE!
