Good afternoon Lady's and Gentlemen,
I have a big problem and found no solution for it.
This morning I created a stack and was closely ready with development, but now when I try to open it, there is no reaction on LiveCode for a long time.
Sometimes it reacts after 5 minutes and gives me the menu but sometimes there is nothing coming up.
So, I cannot finish the development.
Had someone else the same problem in the past?
I use Community version 9 6 1 on a fresh Win 10 Pro 64.
I tried also to clear the database connection out in an editor, but after that, the stack will not open at all.
I hope someone can help here.
Cheers
Frank

Hi Frank,
welcome to the forum!
Try this:
In menu -> Deleopment select -> Suppress Messages and try to open your stack.
Best
Klaus
P.S.
It is -> Lady, Ladies (no apostrophy nonsense in any plural!)

Re: Problem to open a stack
I had something similar yesterday where the dictionary would not load its content. I relaunched LC twice and on the second try it did work. I've never seen that behavior before and I still don't know why it happened. The dictionary stack would open but it was completely blank.
I'm using LC 9.6.1, which until then has always worked fine.

Hi Klaus,
thanks a lot for the answer.
I tried what you mentioned, but sorry, it is not working.
I wrote the App completely new now and had no new issues.
I think a bit of the old code is letting LiveCode fu......up.
And thanks, yes, I should normally know how to write Ladies.
Thanks again and have a great Sunday.
Cheers
Frank
