uninstaller doesn't work
Boy this just gets better and better...
Now I can't even get the uninstaller to work.
See the screen shot at
<http://www.billdoerrfeld.com/RunRev/Bu ... tall.html>
There's no "next" button on the screen allowing one to initiate an uninstall.
Given oddities with my install, I wanted to uninstall and re-install.
Is it safe to just delete the Runtime Revolution folder in the Apps folder? Or, are their libraries and the like installed elsewhere in the OS (on Mac OS X)?
Thanks
Bill

On Mac OS X there are certain setting files in the properties folder which is normally here:
/Users/<Username>/Library/Preferences/Runtime Revolution
In addition there might be files pertaining to licensing and crashes here:
/Users/<Username>/Library/Application Support/Runtime Revolution
There might be caches and other temporary files elsewhere, but they won't affect Rev, as far as I know.

Thanks. Out of curiosity, does the Uninstaller on your system have a "Next" button (allowing it to actually run)?

Cannot Uninstall
I have the exact same issue when trying to uninstall Run Rev Studio 3 trial edition. No "Next" button when uninstaller launches. Has anyone confirmed if this is a bug or if there is a work around (other than just deleting files)?
Re: Cannot Uninstall
It's a bug... RR is aware of it.oulmanpe wrote:I have the exact same issue when trying to uninstall Run Rev Studio 3 trial edition. No "Next" button when uninstaller launches. Has anyone confirmed if this is a bug or if there is a work around (other than just deleting files)?
No Next button in uninstaller
I found out thru playing with the RR uninstaller that you can just hit ENTER key and it does the "Next" button selection for you.. Hope this helps

Beware...I hit the Enter key to uninstall on the Windows platform, rebooted and the contents of Add/Remove Programs was corrupted.

RunRev - Forever?
I used the "Cleanse Uninstaller Pro" and RR had no chance

Yah! I got that too, good thing I managed to Restore it through the Windows Restorer something utility.... Another user seem to have problems uninstalling to so I suggest you use the program on this topic... http://forums.runrev.com/phpBB2/viewtop ... 2145#12145skider86 wrote:Beware...I hit the Enter key to uninstall on the Windows platform, rebooted and the contents of Add/Remove Programs was corrupted.
