I have just tried to send a pm to the OP but it appears to be stuck in my outbox. So here is the message:

I am struggling with permissions.

My library as it stands works fine when used from within the IDE as it appears to be piggybacking on Livecode's entitlement to read Calendar data. I have spent the past few days pulling my hair out trying to get a standalone to prompt for permission, so far without success. I am now suspect that the issue may not be with the LCB external but with the permissions granted to the built application.

In a post on the forum you wrote:
Success!

I added Calendar to the entitlements and built to a standalone, On running it now correctly prompts for the Personal Calendar access
Where did you put these entitlements?

best wishes

Simon
