I just recently subscribed to mergEXT Complete and wanted to know which external to use to record audio on both iOS and Android platforms?

I have read the descriptions of mergAV (which seems video-based for both iOS and Android) and mergMicrophone (which seems the obvious choice, but only available for iOS?).

Sorry, I'm looking for feature parity on both platforms, and just wanted your definitive take.

There is a new version of the mergAndroid external available from mergExt.com that has some features of mergMicrophone.
