landscape android app scaling

Post by newtronsols » Mon Jul 28, 2014 2:33 pm

I have an android app that launches landscape. Works fine testing. But then when I start from the icon it seems to scale the stack to fit 1/4 of the screen. It has only just started doing this so I assume I've accidently clicked or set something. But what?

Ah..this is a 6.7 dp5 issue. Works fine back on 6.7 dp4. That what some journey trying to figure out why what was working suddenly stopped working. Also while randomly clicking stack tick boxes on dp5 to see if something was set but not shown I ticked minimize and that closed the stack. Again may be a dp5 issue. So 6.7 dp5 seems to be highly flakey i.e. not Windows/Android stable.

Hi newtronsols,

LiveCode 6.7 DP6 has recently been released so please try this version to see if the issues that you have mentioned are resolved. If they are still present, it would be great if you could report them to our QC team at http://quality.runrev.com as they will be able to investigate further.

Kind Regards,

Neil Roger

I did try but seems to be rejecting me to licence. Keeps saying try again later.

Hi newtronsols,

This will be the LiveCode 6.7 dp6 licensing issue that we discovered yesterday. More information can be found on it here- http://quality.runrev.com/show_bug.cgi?id=13023

You will be able to work around the bug for now buy downloading an offline activation file for livecode 6.7 dp5 and using this to register dp6

Kind Regards,
