Google provide the cloud print service which allows you to integrate it into Android apps - anyone know how to do this with Livecode?
https://developers.google.com/cloud-print/docs/android or https://developer.android.com/training/ ... index.html
It saves the file as a pdf which you can then print from Google Drive to a printer.

Hi newtronsols,
The link you provided explains how to implement printing functionality within a java development environment. This would require something like an Android external to hook into this within LiveCode. The Android Externals SDK is still in development so this would not be an option at present.
Please see your other forum post where I posted a link to a PDF library that you may be able to use instead
Kind Regards,

Re: Integrating Google Cloud print
When will the Livecode externals sdk be available?
Re: Integrating Google Cloud print
Hi newtronsols,
Although we are currently working on the SDK, there is still a lot of work to do on our open source roadmap before Android SDK will be in a useable state. More information on our roadmap can be found here-
http://livecode.com/community/roadmap/
We have also recently launched our HTML 5 campaign so could also put a delay on the Android SDK's development.
Kind Regards,

Re: Integrating Google Cloud print
Hi Newtronsols,
Just a quick update. I think I was a bit quick of the mark in regards to information about the Android SDK as although this is still in development, we are hard at work on our widgets architecture which will make use of the SDK and will make the creation of custom controls far quicker and easier.
For example, you should be able to use a lower level subset of the LiveCode language to hook into the Google Print functionality. As this is quite a large portion of our roadmap, and as HTML 5 campaign will have no effect on this, we are hoping to have something useable for when the LiveCode conference arrives (September)
More information on this new exciting feature can be found in our latest blog post here-
