Hi alohagigi,
There will be no issues using you iOS application on older generations of iPad as iOS versions are backwards compatible. The only elements that would not be avalaible would be any features that are specific to a newer version of iOS (e.g iPhoneSetRemoteControlDisplay requires iOS 5.*+)
