Hi there,
I'm unable to add my newest XCode to the iOS SDK's. While looking through your forums I've discovered this question and somebody linked to iOS SDK 6.1.2. However this link is broken.
Can you tell me how I have to install this? I can't find the iOS 6 version in the download section of developers.apple.com/downloads.
I'm running LiveCode 6.5.2. Adding XCode 4.4 was working. But the newest XCode just won't work and I can't find any download of XCode 6.1.2 or higher. I'm working on Mac OS X 10.9.2.
Kind regards,
Chris

Re: The choosen folder is not a valid iOS SDK
Hi Chris,
We are aware of the issues with the latest version of Xcode (5.1) and LiveCode.
Xcode 5.1 was released yesterday and it would seem that specific changes to this version cause it to not to be valid when selected in Livecodes mobile preferences
A bug report on the issue can be found here-
http://quality.runrev.com/show_bug.cgi?id=11913
Until this issue is resolved, you will be able to continue using Xcode 4.4 or download Xcode 5.0.2 from the iOS developer portal

Re: The choosen folder is not a valid iOS SDK
Hi Neil,
Thanks. With Xcode 5.0.2 it worked. I'm still a little confused with the Xcode and iOS SDK versions as I've only built for Android up to now.
Kind regards,
Chris

Hi Chris,
A table of Xcode versions and contained iOS sdks can be found here-
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IOS_SDK
LiveCode will always build its standalone against the latest version of iOS SDK (currently 7). Any standalones built will be compatible with previous versions of iOS.
Kind Regards,
