Hi,
Just in the past couple of days the Livecode (v.10) has been really slow, to the point that the captions 'ask dialog' and 'answer dialog' are visible for half a second or so, before the dialog box shows, and the copy and Ctrl - V does not make a duplicate of a field or button. Yes, I was also forced (by microsoft) to get a Windows 10 update, but copy and paste works fine in Excel. I just used Windows - V to monitor the clipboard, and the Livecode copy option fails to put the copied text/etc on to the clipboard. So far, I have cleared the clipboard, re-installed Livecode 10 and restarted the computer, all to no avail.
Any ideas what else ?
A clue ! Copy (and paste) works in the edit environment, but still not working in the IDE.
Another 'Clue' ! Error messages are headed 'RevErrorDisplay' and are not editable within the message.

CAsba, do you mean with the pointer tool but not with the browse tool? Those are both in the "IDE".

I wonder what the breakdown would be by country or age group.

I have seen LC lose its keyboard shortcuts. The only thing that fixes it is to restart LC. I have never seen an error message though.

Are you using the edit tool when it fails? Try switching to the browse tool and see if that helps.
