Rotated Text Widget

Hi everyone,
It's a couple days early but Happy New Year to everyone!
I am using the Rotated Text Widget and while it is easy to use and works well, the one thing I don't like about it is that any rotated text doesn't print sharp like non-rotated text. It looks fuzzy/low res. As I have no experience programming widgets, I have no clue how to try and fix this myself. Does anyone know how to make rotated text print sharply or perhaps does anyone know of another widget that would give better results?
AFAIK, LC does not offer a native way to rotate text.
