Hi, is there a way to select a video from phone/emulator and play it in a player?

Not really. Due to the increased security measures on mobile we don't have access to files outside our app's sandbox. My app needs access to the public documents folder but I can't get there. I've submitted a feature request to the QCC but there's no resolution yet.
