searching from a database

hello, how can i search something from a field that contains al the data from a database? (searching from livecode [that searches on the database and shows the result of the research on livecode]) is it clear?

Hi.

If you already have your returned data in a field, then you are able to do anything you want to in LiveCode. Read in the dictionary about the "Find" command and all its options. Also, read about the several "offset" functions, as they do similar work, but may be more useful, depending on what you are trying to accomplish.
