The grey cover to the Windows desktop is the Backdrop, and I have
already indicated how to make that go away. 8)

"Should" is a complicated word. I try to avoid it, and did so here. I merely offered an invitation.

But there are many learning styles, and I don't imagine my offer is any sort of "best" for everyone.

If he prefers private instruction I have no judgement on that.
