App Menu on Android LG G3 Freezes when Reaching LC App

Hey all, I have a question I have been putting off asking for a long time, but I am still curious, so I wanted to see if anyone has noticed the following:
I have a LiveCode app installed on my Android LG G3 via the Google Play Store, as it is already published. When I go into my phone's App Menu and scroll down through the list of Downloaded Apps, they all go zooming past... that is, until the native "Data Grid" is JUUUUUST about to render the LC app at the bottommost pixel of the native DG thingy. Just before the LC app is supposed to cycle up through the list and zoom on by, the entire scrolling stops abruptly and lags for about 1.5 seconds. This happens every single time I reopen the interface at exactly the location where the LC app is supposed to come onto the screen.
So that is WHAT is going on, and now my question is WHY? What's making this happen? Is the LiveCode engine having to run to retrieve the App Icon and info just to display in the native DG? Is this something anyone else has experienced, too? Why does it take so long and interrupt all the smoothness just to display the App Info at the Settings Menu level (repeat, I am outside of the app and it is independent of whether the app is opened).
Doesn't seem ideal to me to have the one LiveCode app on my phone behaving in an exceptional way, particularly in one that degrades native system behavior functionality.
Hoping for some enlightenment!
Thanks in advance,
Phil E.
