JDK path is missing

JDK path is missing I am using Livecode 8 community
need help..

Hi Snop21,
This is a known bug. The JDK is being found but is just not being populated within the preference pane.
You should still be able to build as your Android SDK path has populated with error.

This is not a LiveCode issue but some form of communication issue between your device and ADB (Android Device Bridge).
I would recommend restarting your device & computer and trying again. More information on this error and other possible solutions can be found here-

Ever since the December security update to Android, I have been unable to install directly to a device. I have four test devices and they all worked fine until, one after the other, they began failing after each received the update.
I submitted a report about it and the team said they had no test devices with the update yet so it was put on hold. For now I am transferring apks via Dropbox which is much less convenient.
I did not get a specific error as you did, the IDE hung instead and required a force quit because there is no way to exit the build dialog. But the symptom was the same, it failed after the build was complete and while trying to transfer the app to the phone or tablet.
If your phone is receiving security updates, this may be the same problem.
