As subject, does the Community version of LiveCode work with LiveCloud? or are there any other cloud based service that will integrate with the community version? I'm currently experimenting with an app for collecting data while out and about using an android tablet, it needs to have data back up to a database locally and then sync to a cloud based system, as there will be multiple users and I would like to have the data accessed across multiple people. I'm not in the position to take out a subscription yet until I get a working prototype.

OK just been told by a LiveCloud admin that it doesn't work with the community version, which is sad.

So are there any other Cloud databases out there that work nicely with LC Community? Parse perhaps?

It is unfortunate that LiveCloud is not compatible with the Community Edition of LiveCode. Not to worry though. We have a temporary solution until a more final solution becomes available. Your should have received an email with details from us.

The long term solution should be forthcoming from LiveCode pretty soon.
