Hi!
I'm having some trouble installing the Android emulator on my win7 PC.
Someone suggests me to test my app directly on my phone (Nexus 4).
The driver is installed, the debug mode is on..but..how to make the TEST button enabled to tets my app on the phisical device?
but first of all..is it possible or the suggestion I received was a fake?
thank you!

Hello gepponlone,
I have Windows 7 and after following this YouTube 'How to' link I was able to use both the Emulator and device with no problem.

I have some problems...
As you can see in the attached images, In the preferences window, when i select the Location of Android, it says me that is not a valid Android SDK and tell me something about the Android 2.2 that should be enabled.
But as you can see in the sdk window, Android 2.2 is correctely installed...

I'm guessing gepponline. But as it says it does not like the folder your pointing to, then perhaps your pointing to the wrong folder, or it needs installing elsewhere.
My own Windows 7 (64 bit) PC installation which works is in C:/Program files (x86)/Android/android-sdk
However, there are many friendly and helpful members on here who are vastly more experienced than I am, in both computers and LC and could point you in another direction if my suggestion if wrong.
Kind regards,
Ruth

I just had this problem yesterday. Updating the Android SDK removes a required file from the installation. You need a copy of the zipalign file in the Tools folder. Get it here:
