Livecode window always on top.
Since Livecode 6.x the application window is always on top (Mac 10.9.5). Is there a way to disable this functionality, because it's quite annoying...
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Livecode window always on top.
Windows have many different modes, both in the OS and in how LiveCode provides support for them.
Is this your application window, or an IDE window?
Windows that are always on top are palette windows. In some cases it can be useful to change the window's style property to modeless, so that it's still not editable but also layers interleaved with other windows.
For more info, in the Dictionary see the modeless and palette keywords, and the style property of stacks.

Re: Livecode window always on top.
Thanks for your help, but I couldn't find the window in Livecode UI elements. I am looking for the IDE window bordered with red.
Thanks,
Chris
Thanks,
Chris
Re: Livecode window always on top.
Hi Chris,
the "window" with the red border is actually YOUR stack and does not belong to the IDE
Please check if "systemwindow" (Float above everything) has been checked for your stack in the stack's Inspector -> Basic Properties
That is the only property I know that might cause this behavior!
Best
Klaus

Klaus covered the tech aspect - I have an OT question:
The color of the sand looks like Wadi Rum, but the shape of the mountains looks more like Arizona - where is that?

Thanks, Klaus and Richard for your help!!! The fix above worked perfectly.
OT: It's in Namibia, Sossusvlei. Amazing place! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sossusvlei. In the past we created an iPad app for the Namibia Tourism Board.

Wow. Beautiful place, unlike any other desert I've seen. Namibia is now on my to-do list. Thanks.
