Hi,
I've written an app on my Mac (Mavericks with LC 6.5.1 commercial) and am having great difficulty configuring LC to 'link' with the Android SDK. So, getting close to 'giving up' for the moment with the deployment to Android and having a Windows 7 PC in my office (on which I have installed LC 6.5.1 commercial - same as my Mac), I thought (well, didn't really give it any thought at all... until now) I'd simply transfer the MyApp.livecode file from my Mac to the Windows PC but I'm experiencing 'issues' with this too - my PC just 'hangs' trying to transfer the file !

To be completely fair (now I consider it a little) I'm not surprised - the file was created on my Mac and I'm now simply expecting it to transfer to my PC... Never really gave it any thought I guess !

Is there a way of doing this - transferring my app source code file between a PC and a Mac - or am I barking - well, even more barking that usual ?

A pointer please ? ? ?

There should not be a problem transferring a stack between the 2 OS, unless it's something new in 6.5. Normally this can be done without trouble.

I think that is something other than the stack, I can copy any file from my Mac to Win (not that they'll all run).

Hmmm... Thanks for that... It's late now and I'm working at home... but... two things occur to me now (having read your e-mail and thought about things a little more) :

[1] I'm also transferring the database file (SQLite) and a config file (text) these may be causing an issue (in which case the text/config file is easy to fix but the SQLite will take me a while longer...
[2] I can try with 5.5.4 and 6.1.x and 6.5.0 too - though I think it'll be the attached files to be fair... I'd not really thought about these - too tired at the end of a busy coding weekend !

Try zipping the files. That can sometimes solve transfer issues.
