Two developers/version control with monthly package

Post by bsod99 » Tue Feb 05, 2013 5:30 pm

Hi, I'm looking at the cross platform monthly pay-as-you-go option, but am wondering if this allows for two developers to use LiveCode under this single subscription, or if two are required? I'd like to use Git for versioning the project throughout development and for collaboration to be possible. Thanks for any pointers .

Version control is currently a hot topic of discussion. I've got a version control stack posted to revonline, and it's incorporated into the glx2 plugin if you want to use that as your script editor. As far as version control being built into the IDE, no, not yet. You can archive the stack itself, of course, but currently git only sees it as a binary object. But stay tuned - things are happening fast.
