I have used Toolbook for some years but am now considering using the Runtime Revolution software.

Is there some easy way to convert from Toolbook to Revolution Media ?

Obviously the scripting language is very similar, and it would not take too long to
convert scripts, but is it easy to import page layouts, fields and buttons, or does one have to do this the hard way?

Has anyone written a script to do the conersion from Toolbook ?

I am a toolbook user since 10 years and runrev since 3 years. Many of my toolbook apps are still running, but I have migrated to runrev.

I have no converter - and I think it would be to much work to do such things.

But there is a way:
There is a metacard stack on the net (metacard is preRunRev) for exporting any stack in xml and rebuild it from xml into a new stack.
If you can do an xml-dump of toolbook in the same way a basic conversion of objects might be done.

openscript is too big for converting it to transcript exactly - but it could be modified semiautomatic and finally accomodated by hand.

Or you could use my client stack, which is "official", and simpler to use too
