Android preview for LiveCode

Hi, I tried setting up Android Studio for LC 9.6.3 (API 29, Build Tools 27.0.3, emulator is running), but nothing happens, the Test button is greyed out.

In any case, you can buld for Android regardless of preview working, right?

Hi CFCFCF,

I think you need to check "Android", too, in the "Standalone Application settings..." in menu "File".
Then you should be able to test your app on your phone/tablet.

Thank you for replying! I had indeed checked that in "Standalone Application Settings..." Turns out it was something sillier, maybe this will be of use for others like me -- I'd forgotten to check Development > Test Target > ...
