never did discover if there was a way to be notified in email if a reply is posted to a post... is there a way to turn that on?
Yes. Go to the User Control Panel - Board preferences - Edit posting defaults. The last option is "Notify me upon replies by default."

The last line of the options in the same tab panel is "Edit notification options." Here you can choose to get notifications or emails or both.

Finally, make sure you've added an email address in the Profile tab - "Edit account settings."

Thanks Richmond, very cool. Although, nothing on keyboards or languages that I could see.

Whew, that was a lot of too-ing and fro-ing, thanks. I long for a simple "Notify me if someone replies". As it was, unless I am automatically subscribed to a board when I post, there are cracks in the reply list. For example, you could check "notify me if someone quotes me" but what if they reply without quoting? Anywho... turned them all on except the first one. Many thanks. It will be good to know now (mostly) when someone replies to a post!! :D

Cheers,
Mark

I'm automatically subscribed to any topic I post in. I think that's automatic with the settings I mentioned.
