I have not been able to to generate a "Trusted certificate" for a several months.
I think that is why I cannot get a successful singing of my Distribution package.
I now see a evaluation statue of "No root certificate".
What does "No root certificate" mean?
How do i fix it?
Thanks,
David

Re: What does "No root certificate" mean?
I don't know, but a quick-N-dirty web search turned this up:
https://support.dnsimple.com/articles/w ... rtificate/
We 'men' know what our right hand is for . . .
. . . err . . . web crawling.

Re: What does "No root certificate" mean?
I did search the web previously, but being a novice, I did not fully understand everything. For years I did not have any trouble, but in the last couple of months and since I upgraded to Catalina, I have had no success.
This is what I am doing:
- I use my keychain to make a request
- I go to the certificate page in Apple Developer and make certificate
- I upload the certificate request to the Apple Developer certificate page
- I generate the certificate
- I download the certificate to my desktop
- I double click the certificate icon
- I go to Keychain Assistant and it says certificate not trusted.

Hi
It is possible you are affected by this
https://developer.apple.com/de/support/expiration/
You should be able to download the renewed certificate from the link in the Taking Action section.
I hope that helps.

Elanor,
It was like magic.
After I downloaded the "Renew Certificate" from
https://developer.apple.com/de/support/expiration/,
my certificates became "Trusted"
The LiveCode forum is the BEST!!
Thanks So much,
David
