Cannot open 6.x stacks in version 7
I downloaded the latest version of LiveCode today and tried opening some stacks I was working on a few months ago and they could not be opened. The error I got was something it was not a stack. I downgraded to the stable 6.7.1 and was able to open them. Is there something I need to do to make these stacks compatible with 7.x?

Hi buchacho,
I think this is a bug and has been fixed in the latest release.
Check again with 7.0.2: http://downloads.livecode.com/livecode/
Best

I'm unable to reproduce that. Was the stack password-protected?

No password protection. I downloaded what was recommended by the download splash page, 7.0.0. I guess I'll wait until 7.0.2 is stable before transitioning to the new release.

Waiting until 7.0.2 goes stable will only guarantee the problem won't be fixed in 7.0.2.
If you have a moment to at least see if the stack can be opened in v7.0.2 that would be very helpful. If not, please file a bug report, and/or send the stack to support AT livecode.com so they can find out what's going on with it.
