Please can you change the icon to a less "icky" green.

I have a feeling that the 1960s and 70s were the times for Psychedelia. :D

Well, I'm not so sure about that, but I *can* tell the difference between an edited and unedited post :P

Next time, I'm taking a screen shot <ksnip ksnip>

I edited the post only because someone who shall remain nameless couldn't work out that
the dark green icon that was initially there was my suggested new one. 8)

Oh? I just figured that was the new icon hahaha. You know how little time I spend in any version of Lc past 6.x :p

I should also point out that in 'nix, the icon is rarely associated automatically, and in those few instances where it *was* actually associated, I changed it immediately

So, indeed, do I on any Linux system with XFCE; all a bit more difficult with KDE Plasma.

On Macintosh it is. frankly, more trouble than it is worth.

I don't know how those things work on Windows.

I don't see the difficulty on PLASMA, or really any nix, they are all pretty much going to run the same way.

Mac, on the other hand, was as easy as I remember posting somewhere else (although I forgot where~!), simply copy a picture or icon or whatever, and paste it (or drag it) into the "get info" properties for an app or folder, such as they demonstrate on this page.
If they don't go willingly, DRAG THEM IN!!

I hadn't used Windows in any serious way in years, but changing the icons there doesn't seem particularly difficult either...

I assume the "lc" in the icon is for "lower case" :P
