Hello,
I would like that someone take care of the http://livecodeshare.runrev.com/ site.
There have been the same project of the month for years.
A lot of tags/categories are missing.
It needs a little more maintenance.

They should let users upload and a moderator decide to keep or delete.

With Widgets and other extensions that Open Language makes possible, LiveCode 8.0 will have a more important role for a community code-sharing portal than ever before.
The team at RunRev is working on this, and we can expect to hear more about this new portal as we get closer to a preview build of v8.

MaxV is right, someone should have taken care of LiveCodeShare/RevOnline a long time ago. I guess someone who is involved with community stuff should do that.

As I noted in the post just above your reply, the team at RunRev is working on a replacement for this, and given that the current RevOnline won't live past the release of v8.0 both their team and the current volunteer Community Manager cannot afford the time to work on the older system for the short period it's expected to remain.Mark wrote: I guess someone who is involved with community stuff should do that.
That said, if as a very active member of the community you want to volunteer to take this on, I would be happy to arrange a meeting with Ben where you could draft a work plan for your proposal.

Re: Livecode share portal administrator
I think that just a server script that put as project of the month the most downloaded script of the previous month is sufficient to change once per month the site aspect and attract people.
However I could help, just let me know how.
