I also found fontbook to be a bit temperamental when uninstalling then installing fonts of the same name.
What I currently do is;
What I currently do is;
- Start fontbook
- Uninstall font(s)
- Quit fontbook
- Double click font file - which starts fontbook and installs the font

Another tip, you may want to quit LiveCode before removing and installing the fonts. I've had some instances where it seemed that LiveCode (or OS X on behalf of LiveCode) cached the older version of the font.splash21 wrote:I also found fontbook to be a bit temperamental when uninstalling then installing fonts of the same name.

Good point - I forgot about that! LiveCode does seem to hang on to the older version until restarted..robl wrote:Another tip, you may want to quit LiveCode...
