Button appearance on Windows

Post by splash21 » Sat Jan 11, 2014 12:07 am

I was testing MobGUI on an old (ish) machine running Windows Vista Business and I noticed that the text on buttons was sitting too high. Has anyone else noticed vertical alignment being out on Windows?

If you're developing for android on windows and the label text is too high in the IDE AND on the android device, then you could edit the label component inside the button object. After altering the field margins to fix the alignment, you could update your theme with the change - which should solve the problem.

If the alignment is in the IDE only, but things look fine on the device, then it would make sense to ignore it.

I've also looked at MobGUI on Linux recently (Ubuntu) and everything looked fine - so - has any one else seen the text misalignment? And if so, which OS version!

TIA
