I have a small app and I got it to work on the android simulator with no problem but when I save as standalone it creates an APK file.
I then set my phone to accept apps from other developers and USB and put it on the phone and it says this file is corrupt.
I was able to put it on my iphone with no issue but the app store wont take it....but thats for a different conversation in the IOS thread.
I should be able to just drop the APK and go....Why is this mobile crap so difficult...lol.
Please help
Thank you
Android APK says corupt

Re: Android APK says corupt
In standalone settings, make sure the app is set to "sign for development only". Also ensure that the Android version on the phone is compatible with the minimum version you set in standalone settings. Also, if an older version of the app is on the phone, delete it first before installing the new one. Every new version you install must have a different build number.
