JDK Path: None

Post by gsillevis » Thu Jan 21, 2021 7:03 pm

I've checked some other forum posts about this, but I can't seem to fix it.

In the Mobile Support preferences, I give the location of the Android SDK root. I understand that it should automatically link to a JDK, but it hasn't.

I used this lesson to get everything ready:

I have JDK 8, none higher. I'm using Livecode Community 9.5.1. I have the SDK for Pie installed (as well as many others).

Whenever I try to save as a standalone, I get the "could not compile service support class" error, which I imagine is due to the lack of JDK.

Any ideas?

Thank you in advance!

I went through this recently. This may be more complex than you would hope to use as a solution. I used this solution on both Windows and OSX
