When saving as a standalone I get the message: “There was an error while saving the standalone application apk finalization failed.” I’m on a MacBook Pro, Mojave, using LC 9.5.0 and followed the updated instructions to install Java 8 and use the most recent version of Android Studio.
Has anyone had this problem using this configuration?

Re: apk finalization failed error message
Sphere, thank you so much for asking!!! No, there have been no responses, and my apk is in a holding position. I'm truly stuck, and not moving forward with making necessary updates for my app in the play store. I would be eternally grateful for any help with this!!
Re: apk finalization failed error message
You are most welcome.
With your setup, does this also happen to other stacks for mobile(Android)?
To see if it is a general setup issue or a single stack issue.
If yes:
-did you install the Android sdk via Android Studio or the command Line
-Is this showing correctly in your LC settings?
-on that same setting , do you also see the path to the Java JDK
I'm mostly on on Win10 but can boot into MacOs to see what is happening at my setup
btw:it can take a few hours before i respond, i'm in another timezone
***EDIT***
-is there any other text after that error message you got? can you provide a screenshot of the error?
I just created an APK and got also an error of copied files which it could not find, removed the entries and it build correctly.
So maybe a screenshot of the error gives some more hints.
thx!
