Command to launch the Album app

Hi all,
do you know if there is a command to launch other apps in Android? I would like to provide a button to launch the Photo Album.

Hi Mag,
I think Android apps are also "sandboxed" like on iOS, not?
If yes, then this is not possible.

Thank you for the replay Klaus. My hope was that there could be a way to launch Album app using URL Schemes...
