Install Location: ??

In the Standalone Application Settings screen, what is the Install Location field for?
The options are a) Internal storage only b) Allow external storage c) Prefer external storage.
I have an app that runs well on a tethered Android but am having trouble with getting
it to the Google Play store. Does this "Install Location" field have any link at all?
Thanks

The install location is where the user is allowed to install your app. Some apps will only run correctly if installed on the device storage, others can run okay if installed on an SD card. Widgets in particular don't work if installed on external storage.

It doesn't have anything to do with getting it into the Play store though. What problem are you having with that?
