Buongiorno Lestroso,

from the "Android Release Notes" (Menu: Help!) for LiveCode 5.02:
Basic sound playback support
Basic support for playing sounds has been added using a variant of the play command.
A single sound can be played at once by using:
play soundFile [ looping ]
...
I am still wondering why noone seems to care to read these release notes which are the only docs for Android and also iOS...

Best

Buongirono Lestroso,

hm, according to the docs MP3 should be suported on Android.
But sinces I do not have an iOS nor Android license (and no cell phone at all, yes, that's me :D )
I can only guess.

I only know that it SHOULD work with:
...
play (path to your mp3)
...

Do other sound formats like AIF and WAV work?

Dear Klaus,

Fortunetly, The Multichannel works fine... either in Emulator And in The Real Android device Phone....I have tried The wave file format only.....

Ok...perhaps, i think that i have missed to give the right path for the sound in mp3 format...

But ...if i put the sound inside the program...when i compile i tell to livecode to copy the files... inside the app....so how i find the right path??? Or well how i can put the right path....i don't want if possible create exeternal folder....ok

I look forward to your reply....
