Android specific lessons for complete beginners

Post by sefrojones » Wed Feb 29, 2012 1:23 am

Hi,

I am not a programmer, but i used to program hypercard stacks when I was a kid. I purchased a personal licence as soon as i discovered Livecode. I am wondering if someone can point me to some android specific lessons to help me get better aquainted with this programming language ( I haven't tried any type of programming since 1994) I do have access to the game academy lessons, and have made a simple game, but I definitely need some more work on the fundamentals of livecode on android. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

edit: I learned hypercard from a few good books back then, like the one suggested by danny goodman, is there a reference similar to this for livecode yet?

Very few people read the User Guide and Dictionary, but they're both quite good. See also: http://www.runrev.com/developers/lesson ... tutorials/
