I just changed the name of my assets folder to "links" and the build is still creating an "assets" folder in the .apk
I'm on 5.5.0 build 1479.
This has to be the issue for me...

Use Easy Uninstaller and unistall all previous LC installs.
The Identifier as mentioned previously needs to be unique.
To help keep your apps from installing on top of each other.
i.e. com.myInitials.myAppName
Or for development testing and quick find.
aaa.aaa.myAppName
Then try again.
Sometimes I get an error "Application NOT installed" instead of the confirmation "Appication Installed".
It's hard to catch unless you're looking for it.
You can take a snap shot of your Copy Files tab and post here so we can see whats going on.
No prob if not.
Should have asked, are you testing an an actual device?
