A_SDK 22.6.2
jdk 1.8.0_25
liveCode 7
I downloaded a sdk 23 then replaced with 22 folder for tools, no luck.
Now I am using win 7 x64 with 2 hard drives c 128GB ssd that is basically filled so I have all my java, livecode, asdk on my f: drive (secondary slower 1Tb) in a Program Files(x86) that used to be my old compy build....now just large file space.
My emulator is set to Nexus S 4", 480 x800) with android 2.3.3 ARM with cameras.
I have searched for a little while through forums....just haven't found anything that would help out yet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: android test not working
Hi William,
Please make sure you are using at least LiveCode 7.0 (RC2) as there have been a few Android related bug fixes implemented since 7.0.
I would also recommend reading through this recent Android related forum post-
http://forums.livecode.com/viewtopic.ph ... 4&start=15
and watching the following Android setup video-

Re: android test not working
Hi,
the issue still remains even with LC 7 rc2, tested on 2 different windows 7 pc's.
So the bug must still be there.
I removed the latest SDK and replaced (just by copying) with the R22 zip (not the one with only the tools).
And even as 2.3.3 created app now installs but when started on emulator screen is black and then stops.
thanks !

Re: android test not working
Neil,
I appreciate the suggestions I had found that youtube earlier and followed the directions on 3 different computers: I used my work imac and then 2 different pcs. I have tried various different versions of livecode 6.3 to 7 (latest build on website) used different versions of android_sdk and jdk with not luck yet.... The liveCode that is on this current build is version 7 build 10018, which according to the updater and your website is the latest community version.
One of my questions is why would the file structure look correct for the jdk version but for the android sdk use forward slashes instead of the typical backslashes? Not sure if that is the issue...but wanted to bring it up since I thought that strange. I did notice that what you had in the youtube video on the mac looked correct with file locations and thought maybe it could be an issue. I am happy to provide screen shots or anything else. Thanks
Sorry newborn dad (8weeks) with about 4 hours sleep in 2 days....I just looked at other link and I tried that...it will let me send it to the emulator then it goes black and then back to normal android screen....so not really helpful. Any other suggestions?

Re: android test not working
There is another discussion on the forum where they're saying not to use the emulator then a real phone. I just use my phone now as I wanted it to be wys/touch/rotate/iwyg.
P.S. new baby - congrats.

Re: android test not working
All, I just wanted to say that Neil's comment above will get you working on a live android device...just not the emulator. Thanks!
