[OT] San Gabriel Valley Linux User Group: March 8

Post by FourthWorld » Mon Mar 05, 2012 3:55 pm

The San Gabriel Valley Linux User Group meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7PM on the CalTech campus.

At this next meeting yours truly will be the presenter, discussing Ubuntu's Unity interface:

Time permitting, I'll also include a brief demo of LiveCode.

Those using Ubuntu or even just curious about it may also enjoy coming early to the Ubuntu Hour from 6PM to 7PM at Peet's Coffee, on the corner of California and S. Lake Avenue in Pasadena. The Ubuntu Hour is also a regular monthly event, scheduled before the main SGV LUG meeting so we can then walk over to the LUG meeting just a couple blocks away.

And if you have time after the LUG meeting, most of the LUG regulars head over to Burger Continental after the LUG meeting around 9PM for a later dinner.

Both the Ubuntu Hour and SGV LUG meetings are free and open to everyone.
