Nice one Richmond!
I'm surprised not more authors in this publication mention LiveCode - I'd have thought LC would be an excellent fit for the target audience...
As they'd say in south London... REPRESENT!

Quite . . .I'd have thought LC would be an excellent fit for the target audience...
But some people do just not seem interested in promoting LiveCode for education in a way that is meaningful to Primary educators.

Re: Richmond's Guff
Is there a version of LC that can install and run on RPi without crashing?

Re: Richmond's Guff
I wrote that article NOT to suggest that LiveCode should be run on Raspberry Pi, but to suggest that LiveCode might be
an ideal teaching language after one has "got over" SCRATCH and Co.

Re: Richmond's Guff
Having had a reply from the editor of 'Hello World' thanking me for my article this is how I replied:
'Having "made a noise" about LiveCode I would very much like to do a series of double spreads taking people
through basic programming tasks with readers . . .'
You never know, they might take the bait.
