what is meaning of Server and Addon
About Starter Plan...
I have found no explanation of what "Server" platform means (attach image).
Also, there is no Addon Pro... exactly what does that mean?
thanks!

Re: what is meaning of Server and Addon
Server is for server-side scripting. LC can be used in place of PHP for server scripts, etc. The pro add-on adds "pro" features, but I don't know offhand what those are, nor do I think they are available with the starter plan.
Re: what is meaning of Server and Addon
Hi vizualDevelop,
As @ClipArtGuy says, server is basically for server side scripting like PHP - you can run liveCodeScipt via web.
The 'pro' add-on is basically the new version of the Pro version of liveCode (remember that it used to be community, community-plus, indy and pro).
From memory, the added features included with Pro:
- remote debugger for debugging on device
- Code profiler - look for bottlenecks in your code
- more tsNet features (above and beyond what was included in Indy)
- view and manipulate PDFs directly
- Possibly something to do with iOS accessories
The reality is while nice to have, most will not need these features and what you could do with Indy (which now the 'standard plan') is good enough... and there are workarounds for cases where more is needed. if you've not been looking for these features you almost certainly won't need them...
Also it doesn't seem like the 'pro' features are available for the starter plan...
