selling and buying rev wares

Post by ooper » Mon Aug 17, 2009 12:30 am

I think an online store could help RunRev, the company, focus on selling solutions to specific aspects of the platform. In contrast, a third-party store can help small developers and in extending mindshare on the platform.

Would anyone be interested in selling and buying their rev wares online in a similar fashion as Heizer software?

Dear Ooper,

Would you mind introducing yourself?
What is "similar fashion as Heizer software"?
Why are you asking this?

Best,

Mark

Hi Mark,

My name is Carl.

Heizer was arguably the strongest company to publish and sell third-party Hypercard stacks --and exel templates. It was a multi-million dollar software house while HyperCard was strong.

I am asking because I suspect there is a market for Heizer's business model in with RunRev, as long as it doesn't get in the way of RunRev, the company.

Thanks for asking.
/Carl

Hi Carl,

I don't know what Heizer's business model was exactly and I wonder where you get the info about the turnover, but I'd be very reluctant to give sales completely out of my hands anyway. You should also keep in mind that software houses don't function any more because of free access to the internet where everybody can sell and buy anything.

Btw, I don't understand your poll. Why can people only choose between yes, yes and yes? What about: no, I'm not interested?

Best,

Mark
