Hi I have written a private message and it shows up in my outbox but is not delivered. How do I get it delivered?

The person I sent the PM to might not be active on this forum any longer.
I saw an old post of mine and thought that a person who had responded to me was someone I ran across earlier this year for completely unrelated reasons.

As you might have guessed, judging by this post of yours -

The person I sent the PM to might not be active on this forum any longer.

- the message will remain in your outbox until the recipient opens it. This happens to me all the time when I send Craig a pm
