Missing Greek in LC 7 logo

Post by Nikos » Mon Oct 27, 2014 6:31 pm

Hello LC 7 logo designer(s),

I counted "Hello" in more than 30 languages in the new 7 logo, but not Greek. I would think it rather hard to miss Greek when doing Unicode, so is this some internal private wager that Panos Merakos lost? :D

This is like the hubris of the Greeks blocking Macedonia calling itself Macedonia because they cannot cope with the fact that Alexander the Great was a Thracian.

It is amazing to find so many inconsistencies in a single sentence like the one you posted. Almost one in three words.

I really won't take this any further - I put a smilie at the end of my message to show that I meant it lightheartedly, but apparently this was not clear enough for some.

The uppercase eta is there, close to huge, isn't it?
And I can see the german "H", close to huge.

Just look in your way to things...

Funny how there isn't a Scots 'з' as well as various obscure characters from other minority languages.

Maybe the reason for this is because the 7 would have to be as big as the Ritz to accommodate all those
whacked-out letters, syllabics, heiroglyphs and so forth.

Pushing things to a reductio ad absurdam always results in showing up nonsense for what it is.
