Re: Artwork
Sorry Maxv but I don't like the idea of linking LiveCode to an evil (even if fictional) thing. Can you try a different concept?

Re: Artwork
Folks,
I do have to point out that LiveCode is our trademark, and the logo is copyright... Please don't use/adapt/re-publish it without first checking with us for permission and adding a trademark/copyright statement to it.

Re: Artwork
If Livecode is your copyright then I would suggest you have a look at this: http://www.meetup.com/London-Android-LiveCode/
where Runtime Revolution's RAD IDE doesn't even seem to be mentioned.
Which is rather sad when RunRev Livecode is a super thing to use to program for Android.

Ok Ms. Laine, please may you supply the correct statement on this forum? I'm not an expert of UK laws.heatherlaine wrote: I do have to point out that LiveCode is our trademark, and the logo is copyright... However many other companies permit free artworks, these artworks are not commercial in any sense, but free and public like this one of Suse OS, a product of Novell company (its license may overcome $ 5,000 /year), just to promote their products:
It's a very popular practice to promote products without spend any money, becoming viral and expand audience and customers.
Here other examples:
Red Hat company ($ 1.6 billion company)
Java logo property of Oracle Corporation ($ 37.8 billion company):
