Need some help from OS X users

EDIT:
My test phase has already been concluded via help from some friendly internet people. Since I can't delete this thread, I'll just edit out the initial content.

OK, OSX7.4

The app "snapped" but I have no idea where the picture went on my hard drive.

Weren't you asked for a place to save the picture? I think by default, the open file dialog box points to the Documents folder.

EDIT:
I made this quick crappy video to show how it's supposed to work.

Umm does this mean the video link doesn't work for you and you weren't able to view it?

Well darn, there must be something I'm missing. But does the display preview work though? I mean you can see yourself from within the app?

Yes, the goal of the app is to produce photo booth style photos. Normally they are consisted of 2 or more pictures in a strip. If there's only 1 then it's just a plain photo. :)

I like the idea of multiple pics "on a strip", but I also expected the option to take just one.

Yes, I saw myself with the preview.

Okay, will definitely add that option.

By the way, I really appreciate your help man. I might add debugging code to pin down the problem. I hope I'm not bothering you perhaps?
