App build not appearing

Hi everyone,

I am having a problem uploading an update for an app.

Everything is fine using the new uploader blue arrow.
But the app does not appear in the Build box.
Usually a small + sign appears, but not this time.

I even tried building another and using the application loader.
Still no sign of the +.

Has anyone else had this problem?
Is there a solution?

Hi Jessamy, it could be you have something pending (another build on the Testflight, export regulations, etc) or maybe you have to expire the previous build that you are replacing as Apple doesn't review a new build unless the previous one has been approved or expired.

Thankyou so much for your reply.
I did have to sign new regulations, but that didn't work!

I wondered if I have to make a new App Id as they have stopped using wildcards.
I presumed that was only on new apps.
So I am going to try and figure out what the instructions mean!!

Any help on that would also be gratefully accepted.

Previously I had a string of letters ABCDEFG.* as a wildcard ID.
If I have to make a specific ID, where do I put the letter string in LiveCode settings?

Dear Simon,

I have had the email confirmation that the build has completed processing.
That was two days ago.

I have agreed to the updated regulations and chosen myself to take all the company roles!

It is an update rather than a new app.

So nothing seems to make the + appear by the choose a new build box!

Is anyone else having this problem?

I am stuck...

There was an undocumented change at few days ago that caused me a great deal of trouble and delay. Apple will not complete the processing if you do not have the beta entitlement checked in standalone settings. This used to be a warning you could ignore, and just a week ago Apple accepted my upload without marking the beta entitlement. But now it is required.

I had several unhelpful replies from Apple developer support that cost me two days of frustration. Apparently even their support team doesn't know what the emails say after an upload. The one you get that says processing is complete isn't true anymore.

Mine was a new app but I suspect the same is true for updates as well.
